Our first few experiences were hit and miss (first time was fine, second time we waited for ages to find out they couldn’t cook much because of a lack of ingredients at only 1pm, 3rd time googled said it was open bourbon arrival it was closed for renovations.
4th time it was smooth (let’s hope it stays that way) and I really enjoyed my double cheeseburger, but hubby said his lacked flavour. It certainly isn’t for the faint hearted 😆 Tried the gelato a few months ago and it was delish.
*For now*, I would give 3 stars for the restaurant and location and 4 for the food and pricing but because it’s a plant based restaurant then they get my full support with 5 stars as it helps protect our sacred innocent animals ❤️

Everything was excellent, the cauli wings were just the right amount spicy with the sauce, and the double cheese burger was undistinguishable from real beef!

Overall quite nice food. The hamburger buns were top notch! Great plant-based patty also.
Double cheese burger was a little bit too oily, though everything else tasted great so I came back for more the next day. Drinks could be improved, and no need to stuff so many ice cubes. Balsamic vinegar dressing needs to be improved a lot - it was sweet and not flavourful nor refreshing.

Spectacular! Huge portions, absolutely perfect burgers with dripping cheese and fried onions - the stuff of dreams. Loved the sweet staff and cozy comfy place too. Can’t wait to return!

Delicious food. Come out quick. I’m not vegan but enjoyed carbonara and chicken skewers, wife had cauliflower bites and a burgers and was tasty too.
Absolutely amazing food!!! We had the loaded fries, double cheeseburger, colonel burger and the cauliwings. Everything was sooo delicious. We definitely come back 🙂

Had the "fish" sandwich and it was really good. Buut the messiest sandwich I've ever eaten! Maybe go a bit less on the tartar. I was covered in it no matter how hard I tried to keep clean.

I ate here during my time in Bali, we ordered the cauliflower wings, one of the rice dishes and my partner had a skewer set and a cheeseburger filled with fried onions.
I also had the magenta lemonade and everything we had here was incredible. I’m vegan, but my partner isn’t and he still enjoyed his food.
The cauliflower had a crumb batter which took it to the next level. The vegan egg had an eggy taste and the rice was amazing.
Definitely coming back when I’m in the area.

Great service and food was so good! Burgers and burritos, all vegan but very tasteful.
My bf and I both had a burger (Colonel and Grilled Chicken) and my sweet potato fries were kinda weird, but they immediately got replaced by new, fresh, ones. Which were perfect. Dessert was also really good.
But most of all: staff is so SO friendly. Would recommend!

One the very few vegan restaurants I have found in Bali. Menu was creative and appealing. Everything is made fresh to order and tasted delicious. We tried the Shroom burger and double cheese burger, both came with a side you could choose. We also enjoyed the corn ribs. My partner who is a huge meat eater really enjoyed his burger and said he would happily return. Lovely restaurant with lovely staff. I highly recommend trying even if you are not vegan

Also, after eating here several times I can confirm this is a clean and hygienic place. I did not get diarrhoea once eating here. This is the only place I ate on bali during my visit so I can say this with confidence.

good food; the broritto was excellent as was the fries. Small portions but also good prices. ham on the pasta tasted just like the real thing. barely any parking for bikes none for cars and the eating experience is marred by the loud and constant traffic very close to the tables. still, an interesting menu with friendly service. free water and they make their own condiments for custom order.

I loved the burritos - they were flavourful with a variety of textures! The vegan gelato was also incredibly delicious - I would recommend trying it out!
Satay Taichan "chicken" skewers are unreal, way nicer than real chicken and I'm not vegan.
Broritos wrap was the best burrito I've had in Bali. The quality of the wrap itself was hard to beat, delicious fillings.
Carbonara was delish too.

We've been there several times and tried different things. The food is average for me, but the drinks are very tasty. Some items are always missing from the menu. The service is fast.
The burgers are absolutely delicious and by very far the best we’ve had in Bali. You don’t want to have French fries that are too soft, you want to eat Belgian fries that are just right with your burger. These are cooked the right way, and it’s only here in the whole of Bali. The portions were good so had to come back the day after for desert. That too was great!
Excellent vegan restaurant, the food is tasty and not spicy and the staff are very attentive. I recommend it because we will be returning.

We enjoyed Sauce Tree so much we ate it twice…in less than 24 hours! We got the sauce tree burgers and the double chiz burger and there were both amazing!! Service is fast! The atmosphere is very casual and it’s a small restaurant but I highly recommend if you want a delicious bite!!

What a hidden vegan gem in Sanur! The whole menu looked amazing, we got the Double Cheeseburger and the Butter Chicken and they were both so tasty - the best burger I’ve had in a long time! So fresh and it sat so nice in the tummy (considering the loaded crispy onions)

Fabulous 100% plant-based place with excellent service. The waitress was even aware of allium intolerance, which I have, and was able to suggest what was safe to eat, which was reassuring. The meal was good and the pistachio gelato a wonderful finish. A booth option for those that don’t want to, or can’t, sit in a harder chair. It’s a little set back, so be sure not to miss it.
So pleased with Sauce Tree being a fully vegan place! They have lots of delicious food options and deserts. Staff was super friendly!

My wife had the burritos and she was equally impressed and thrilled to find a vegan food outlet that is tasty and value for money.

I am very grateful for this place since it is quite difficult to find a vegetarian/vegan friendly place here in Sanur.
I asked for a cauliflower "wings" and I asked a salad + one simple portion of rice...the cauliflower was a lot and in total it was a biig portion :') im so full. all was nice but the waitresses were the best really kind and caring service!
I just loved the place, nice modern design with Bali vibe, nice playlist. But most importantly the food and drinks are heavenly good! Best vegan food I had so far in my life, and I come from Paris, the choice is large 😉 Thank you, I will come back for more 😋
I and my son went to Sauce Tree 3 times!! We are vegan, so we could eat anything we wanted in there!! The manager and the staff were so kind, always smile at us. The manager gave me a cake for a present on the last day of the Bali trip. All the food was very delicious!! I couldn’t believe that those food were all vegan!!
Had our lunch here before our flight back to KL. Ordered hamburger, brorittos, lemon cake, matcha latte, grill corn, AWESOME. Must try their double chiz burger super delicious and big portion! 👍👍👍👍 the matcha latte however was too sweet for our likings 😅 great service from Novi very friendly and speak great English❤️👍

Unespected really nice burger and side salad. Its Nice to eat something else than tofu or tempé (burger) if you travel through Indonesia. The side salad had also a delicious dressing and was fresh. Appreciate not extra costs. It’s ok inside, but not super cozy that you wanna sit there for one hour.

Super tasty food, the deep-fried cauliflower is to die for and the mango slushy not only looks special but also tastes great. We both like to eat meat, so you don't have to be vegan to try the delicious food here 😉 The portions are not particularly large, but they are totally sufficient and it's certainly not a problem if there's still room for a delicious dessert 🙂

This place is great. We ate here a LOT over our 8-day stay.
Food is great they make a good coffee. The staff are attentive and seem to enjoy working there.
They do a wide variety of vegan burgers and hot dogs that put many non-vegan equivalents to shame.
My only regret is that we don't have one of these in Brisbane.
Would definitely recommend and will head back there when I'm next in Bali.
